BARCELONA | Chilean born Jaime Beriestain, a renowned interior designer based in Barcelona since the year 2000, finds the perfect balance between Barcelona’s essentials Mediterranean creative culture and his very own approach to interior design in his 500sqm concept store and cafe restaurant. This  new spot located just 100metres away from La Pedrera is a mise en scène of Beristain’s particular world and personal style. Influenced by his impressive professional background and his participation in outstanding international projects, Beriestain’s concept store sources a diversity of items he collected from his multiple journeys. Evoking the authenticity and simplicity of a fresh lifestyle, Beriestain  offers a select range of items  for daily life in a cool mix of homeware, kitchen goods,  carpets, candles, a flower shop corner or international perfumes such Dr.  Vranjes Firenze. Literature has its own place too with an interesting selection  of international books. The exclusive selection of vintage furniture, mostly from the 60’s and 70’s deserves special attention. To recreate a homey atmosphere, Beriestain’s concept store is divided in four different ambiences: urban decoration, country, beach style and mountain rustic. The Cafe Restaurant offers traditional market cuisine in a  comfortable setting. The menu is designed by Beriestain himself, with the help of his chef. It approaches traditional Chilean cuisine to Barcelona’s gastronomic community. And it includes an interesting  selection of low calories dishes, coupled with tasty home made desserts.
