MIRLETT, THE COUPLE EFFECT

BARCELONA | Full disclosure: We love Mirlett because it reflects the energy and enthusiasm of the young couple behind this boutique, Núria Miró and Carlos Lettgen. Each season, following their very own vision of aesthetic, they put together a sober and refreshing collection, with a focus in high quality fabrics and materials, polished style and effortless elegance. That’s not an easy task. Miró and Lettgen spend weeks sourcing interesting labels from their favorite international designers; most of them rarely known in Barcelona. The result are acute collections of street wear clothing and accessories both for men and women, delicately showcased in a relaxed space with Scandinavian vibes. Plus, all items are made in the EU.
Mirlett opened just two years ago in one of the quietest streets in El Born district. The boutique is conceived as a space for inspiration featuring exclusive designs from sustainable independent European and local brands with a leaning towards Scandinavian minimalism.
The exclusive French Tinsels; the unexpected and unconventional garments of Elementum by Portuguese designer Daniela Pais; or the functional proposals of Dutch label Anecdote are just a few of the creations on display at the store.
Mirlett is also open to build collaborations with like-minded brands. For instance, they cater an exclusive line designed by the Danish label Norse Projects.
The racks are full of neutral shades, some subtle and neat prints, and sheer detailing. The bursting of colours comes from the alluring and joyful Marimeko's items, whose women line is exclusive for Mirlett in Barcelona.
If you’re devoted to accessories, Mirlett is also an appealing option to find elegant bags from Castor Polux, tempting bijouterie from Barcelona brand Après Sky; and sophisticated silk scarves signed by local designer and artist Ona Boix.
Alongside, the shop includes a collection of men’s streetwear and sportwear brands such as Norse Projects or Loreak Mendian.
Shopping on line will be soon available, making these collections we so much love available to avid shoppers beyond Barcelona.
