SHEGUANG HU – CHINA FASHION WEEK AW 14

BEIJING | Sheguang Hu  uses his characteristic eccentricity to push for environmental protection.  The designer’s show at the China Fashion Week AW14 was full of nostalgia. Retro outfits inspired both in ancient times and modern trends from Europe, America and Asia cherished the beauty of nature. Hu emphasizes the importance of innovation in modern fashion to protect traditional techniques and ensure the use of natural fabrics such hand embroidery or Chinese silk. Scarfs, pollution masks and latex gloves symbolize the contradictions of today: progress vs. preservation of the environment.
