J.CREW X TRACY MORGAN: OUR CANVAS, YOUR MASTERPIECE

HONG KONG | J.Crew brought to Hong Kong's contemporary art fair, Art Central, the most interactive project not only at the fair but also across the city. J.Crew's store windows in Hong Kong became a display of art with colorful painted canvases as a backdrop of the brand's latest Spring Summer collection. In Art Central, J.Crew created a live studio where New York based artist, Tracy Morgan painted an interactive display that evolved throughout the fair. The artist brought to life J.Crew's classic stripes by hand-painting clothing with Morgan's colorful strokes. Fair-goers could also take part in this ongoing display of art by creating their hand-painted tees, totes, denim and chino pants. Photos by Earth to Iris.
