SEOUL | Paul and Alice oneiric signature style obeys to the devotion of designer Joo Hyosoon to the world of Alice in Wonderland. Fairy tales and childhood memories are always somehow present on Paul and Alice SS15 romantic designs. Joo Hyosoon explores the adventures in wonderland in many different ways, particularly from the mature perspective of an adult. In her Spring Summer 2015 collection, Joo Hyosoon recreates this magic world through the paintings of artist Yoon Hee Kim. In particular she is interested in the artist’s use of background colors and Lego-like compositions, which remind the designer of her feelings when walking through Seoul’s tranquil alleys in Spring.
Paul and Alice was launched in 2007 and since then the brand has successively participated in the Seoul Fashion Week. Paul & Alice also took part in international fashion shows in Tokyo, Paris, Berlin and New York.
