EASTER IN BARCELONA: PALM SUNDAY

By  |  0 Comments
BARCELONA | The streets of Barcelona are filled with Easter palms during the holiday. Traditionally Christians carry the palms to the Church for worship on Palm Sunday, the first Sunday before the Easter holiday. Later, palms are kept at home as beautiful decorations. The art of weaving palms is an old skill and it's common to see vendors weaving them on their street stalls the weeks before the holiday. Photos by Earth to Iris.
