She\u2019ll welcome you personally \u00a0from the corner where she has her atelier. She\u2019ll then stop her crafty work to carefully explain the history behind each of her designs. Meanwhile, her pet Enzo, a curious and playful teckel will come to welcome you too. Enzo is such a charismatic dog that he featured a Christmas special collection of twenty\u00a0 brooches made by an also designer friend of Mimi.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nMimi works with semi-precious stones: agate, quartz, amethyst or amazonite, that she combines with silver, Swarovsky\u00a0 crystals, hand-painted \u00a0elements, silk fringe or leather.\u00a0 The materials come from Greece, Italy or Germany. \u00a0The result are exuberant pieces,\u00a0 colorful and \u00a0very beautiful.\r\n\r\nShe is currently producing a new collection of pieces, \u00a0big gemstones\u00a0 mounted in silver or metal. Organic and expressive yet sober and elegant at the same time. They show an evolution from the former collections, always feminine and\u00a0 very wearable.\r\n\r\nMimi\u2019s creative process\u00a0 is continuous,\u00a0 she is an artist and her collections flow permanently.\u00a0 Almost every week she works in brand new items.\r\nThe variety of her designs are suitable for women of any age.\r\n\r\nCreative and entrepreneurial Mimi arrived\u00a0 to Barcelona 10 years ago.\u00a0 She has an academic background in Germany (silversmith\u2019s studies)\u00a0 and Vienna (design and silver crafts).\u00a0 She had lived and worked in Buenos Aires (Argentina).
